Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the face of our brand in customers' homes. You will install cutting‑edge smart home technology, troubleshoot issues, and help homeowners upgrade to safer, more connected solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess each residence on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols during each appointment.

Required profile

• Strong sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful.
• Willingness to learn, attend training, and grow within a national organization.

Required skills
