Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join a leading smart‑home provider as a Field Service Professional, installing cutting‑edge technology and offering on‑site sales of upgraded solutions to enhance customer peace of mind.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home‑automation systems.
• Assess customer homes and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and safety features.
• Maintain safety assessments at each site and adhere to company safety standards.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with ability to build rapport and trust.
• Sales mindset; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service sales is a strong advantage.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and licensing requirements.

Required skills

• Technical aptitude for installing security cameras, smart locks, and home‑automation devices.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, work in attics and varied weather conditions.
• Basic computer and telephone use for documentation and customer communication.
