Field Sales and Marketing Representative - South Florida

About the role

TTI (Techtronic Industries), a global maker of power tools, outdoor equipment and floor care products, is hiring a Field Sales and Marketing Representative for its South Florida area, which includes Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, the Florida Keys, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. You will drive sales of TTI's product lines within one of its largest retailer partners, building your selling, account management and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Sell directly to customers in the retail environment and provide best-in-class sales and service.
• Support and run corporate brand marketing initiatives and promotions.
• Maintain regular contact with store associates and management and monitor weekly sales and monthly results.
• Deliver in-store product training, demonstrations and demo events, store walks and trade shows.
• Analyze the marketplace, including users, applications, products, competition and channels.
• Keep the store and product aesthetic through merchandising, positioning and display completion.
• Manage down stock and inventory levels, and take part in resets and merchandising installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in retail sales, field sales or customer service.
• At least 21 years old, with a valid U.S. driver's license and one year of driving experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and motor vehicle report, and to hold personal auto insurance as primary driver.
• Willingness to travel to and from store locations and to work nights and weekends, including full-time retail shifts on foot.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship; relocation may be required.
• Able to lift and carry tools up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and use hands to assemble tools and build displays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Self-motivated, organized, with strong planning and time management skills.

• Non-exempt salary of $24.04-$25.96 per hour, with overtime eligibility.
