About the role

Sift is a data‑infrastructure platform enabling hardware engineering teams to turn high‑frequency telemetry into actionable insights. As the Field Marketing & Growth Lead, you will own the end‑to‑end events and community program in San Francisco, turning every in‑person experience into online content that fuels the hard‑tech conversation on Twitter.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual event calendar, budget, and ROI measurement, applying a scoring framework to every booth, walk‑in, and pass.
• Design and run owned event programs such as dinners, roundtables, and hosted formats that generate leads without relying on ad‑hoc sales outreach.
• Establish a recurring community night for the Bay Area hardware and autonomy ecosystem, ensuring Sift becomes a fixture on local calendars.
• Produce and publish clips, photos, and Twitter posts for every event within days, creating a continuous online feed.
• Grow Sift’s Twitter presence to reflect the energy of the SF hard‑tech scene and encourage team participation.
• Partner with RevOps to close the attribution gap, linking each event to measurable pipeline and opportunities.
• Standardise booth execution with assets, runbooks, collateral kits, lead capture, and 48‑hour follow‑up processes.
• Support employer branding by building cadence for “Working at Sift” and “Why I Joined” content, featuring engineers as protagonists.
• Manage speaking submissions, sponsorships, and communications, treating each initiative as a growth portfolio.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in field marketing, growth, events, brand or community roles with full ownership of calendar, budget and measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to design and execute event‑sourced pipelines in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Experience partnering with talent teams to meet hiring contribution targets.
• Strong analytical mindset to measure program performance, eliminate low‑convert activities and double‑down on winners.
