Field Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Field Logistics Supervisor will oversee the flow of fuel, equipment, materials, and support services across the SR400 Express Lanes corridor in Georgia. Reporting to field operations, you will ensure that all assets are properly fueled, positioned, and operational throughout the multi‑segment construction project.

Key responsibilities

• Verify delivered fuel quantities against supplier bills of lading and confirm fuel grade before off‑loading.
• Inspect fuel deliveries for contamination and log tank levels pre‑ and post‑delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel condition, quality checks, and tank/unit levels by location.
• Track fuel transactions for slip tanks and project fuel trucks and maintain a current location record for all fuel assets and mobile equipment.
• Schedule low‑boy and flatbed transport of equipment and material, coordinating DOT permits when required.
• Sequence mobilization and demobilization of equipment between project segments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between field operations and external suppliers, supporting mechanics and ensuring timely equipment servicing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics coordination within a construction or infrastructure environment.
• Strong understanding of fuel management and equipment mobilization processes.
• Ability to work on‑site across a large, active construction corridor.
