Field Helicopter Mechanic

About the role

Wilson Construction Co. is seeking experienced Field Helicopter Mechanics to support power line construction helicopter operations both in the field and at our maintenance facility in Aurora, Oregon.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on MD‑500 and Rolls‑Royce 250 series helicopters.
• Execute field repairs and inspections while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Manage parts inventory, documentation, and maintenance tracking using Aeronet.
• Maintain clean company trucks and trailers and support travel to job sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years total helicopter maintenance experience.
• Preferably 2 years MD‑500 maintenance and 1 year field helicopter maintenance.
• A&P certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work in field conditions.

Required skills

• Helicopter maintenance (MD‑500, Rolls‑Royce 250 series).
• A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) knowledge.
• Proficiency with Aeronet maintenance tracking software.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
