Field Case Manager - Vocational

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring a Field Case Manager for its North West Ohio region, covering Toledo, Findlay, Sandusky, Elyria, Lima and Southern Michigan. The role works face to face with injured workers and their medical providers to help them receive progressive medical treatment and return to work, acting as a liaison between all parties. Frequent travel is required, but the position is based from a home office.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for injured workers, families and caregivers and coordinate their care during recovery
• Help injured workers recover and regain autonomy through advocacy, communication, education and identification of service resources
• Identify appropriate providers and facilities across the continuum of care so that resources are used in a timely, cost-effective way

Required profile

• RN licensure preferred, or a Bachelor's degree in a health or human services field with one of the following certifications: CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN or COHN
• Valid driver's license and high-speed internet; employment may depend on a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to think clearly, solve problems, handle stress and multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
