Field Based Depot Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Based Depot Manager to lead our Boston depot. You will own the depot’s performance, build strong trade relationships and drive sales and profitability while managing a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of depot profit and loss, ensuring targets are met.
• Develop and maintain local trade relationships to grow sales and margin.
• Recruit, lead, coach and motivate a high‑performing team.
• Oversee day‑to‑day depot operations and uphold high standards of customer service.
• Set clear performance expectations, monitor KPIs and hold the team accountable.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, preferably sales‑led.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Problem‑solver with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
