Federal Reserve Summer 2027 Community Development Internship

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is offering a summer internship in its Community Development team for 2027. Interns will support data analysis, program planning, and community engagement initiatives that build financial capital and workforce pathways across the Fifth District.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the department with development and design of resources and programs.
• Support planning and management of meetings, workshops, conferences, and events.
• Help create innovative marketing and communication materials.
• Prepare resource and handout packets for presentations.
• Tabulate evaluations, analyze feedback, conduct information searches, and provide summaries.
• Coordinate presentations and perform miscellaneous research duties such as literature reviews and special projects.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled college student, preferably a rising junior or senior, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Significant economics coursework; economics major preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
