Family Medicine Residency Faculty Position – Georgia

About the role

This is a full‑time faculty opportunity within a Family Medicine Residency Program in Georgia, starting in 2025. The position is ideal for an experienced physician or a recent graduate who wishes to pursue a non‑ACGME accredited academic fellowship and contribute to medical education and academic leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct, full‑spectrum family medicine care to clinic patients.
• Precept and educate residents and medical students, typically one precepting day per week.
• Allocate dedicated time for graduate medical education (GME) administration and curriculum development.
• Maintain a schedule of approximately two clinic days per week.
• Utilize advanced clinical technologies such as MSK ultrasound, handheld ultrasounds, Ellman radio‑frequency device, Blu‑U light, dermatoscopes, and NST.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABFM or AOBFP.
• Valid Georgia medical license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Willingness to perform comprehensive family medicine care and acquire OB knowledge.
• No prior faculty experience required.
