About the role

Hembree Bell Law Firm is seeking a dedicated family law attorney who can serve Spanish‑speaking clients without a translator. The role involves managing a full caseload, representing families in high‑stakes matters, and delivering clear legal strategy in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own contested family law caseload with strategic ownership.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials across Texas.
• Guide families through emotionally charged decisions, negotiating when possible and litigating when necessary.
• Apply the Texas Family Code confidently and accurately.
• Collaborate with a supportive team that works together rather than in silos.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of contested family law experience.
• Active Texas Bar license.
• Strong communication and courtroom presence.
• Fluent Spanish (spoken and written) – ability to explain case details directly to clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Spanish language (spoken and written).
• In‑depth knowledge of the Texas Family Code.
• Litigation, negotiation, and client‑communication skills.
