Family Assistant/House Manager with Meal Prep Support

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Family Assistant/House Manager to support our busy household in Wichita. The role combines child transportation, meal preparation, laundry, pet care and light administrative tasks to keep the family’s daily rhythm running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Afternoon pickups and drop‑offs for three children (school, sports, lessons) primarily between 2:30 pm‑7:00 pm, with occasional back‑up childcare.
• Prepare 3–4 fresh dinners per week, shop for organic ingredients, and handle kitchen cleanup.
• Manage laundry and linen care, including washing, folding, ironing and special garment handling.
• Maintain household organization: daily resets, light tidying, seasonal clothing swaps, and support for weekly cleaner visits.
• Run errands such as pantry restocking, Amazon/Costco orders, PO‑box checks, and pet‑care appointments.
• Perform occasional administrative tasks (bank drops, document scanning, notary errands) and schedule social‑media content for a small nonprofit.

Required profile

• Proactive, organized and able to anticipate needs without being prompted.
• Calm, reliable and respectful of family privacy; stays present while on the clock.
• Comfortable using personal transportation daily; clean driving record required.
• Willing to commit long‑term and grow with the family.

Required skills

• Social‑media literacy and ability to schedule content for a nonprofit.
• Basic tech proficiency for using household grocery apps and online calendars.
