Family Assistant / House Manager (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Family Assistant / House Manager to support a health‑conscious family of four in North Tustin, CA. The role focuses on keeping the household organized, preparing nutritious meals, and handling daily logistics so the parents can work from home and spend quality time with their children.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily resets: make beds, tidy children’s rooms, clean dishes, surfaces and high‑traffic areas.
• Wash, fold and organize laundry; keep the laundry area stocked.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen; grocery shop, wash and store produce.
• Prepare daily snacks and school lunches for one child and plan healthy meals for the family.
• Feed and walk the family dog, brush every other day, and manage pet supplies.
• Handle household orders, returns, dry‑cleaning drop‑offs, and manage the family calendar and appointments.
• Rotate linens, care for delicate garments, coordinate seasonal clothing swaps and donations.
• Assist with occasional deep‑cleaning, vehicle fueling and detailing, and coordinate home‑repair quotes.

Required profile

• Calm, organized, proactive and able to anticipate household needs.
• Clear, thoughtful communicator who can provide concise end‑of‑day recaps.
• Warm and kind with children, comfortable around pets and respects family routines.
• Dependable, self‑directed and able to work independently in a busy work‑from‑home environment.

Required skills

• Cooking – ability to plan and prepare healthy, varied meals.
• CPR and first‑aid certification (preferred).

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $36–$45 depending on experience.
• Mileage reimbursement for work‑related driving (commute excluded).
