Faculty/Academic Associate – Nonprofit Leadership Management (Part‑time)

About the role

The School of Community Resources and Development (SCRD) at Arizona State University seeks qualified individuals for a pool of Faculty Associate and Academic Associate positions for the 2026‑2027 academic year. These are part‑time, one‑semester renewable appointments to teach one or two courses (up to 0.40 FTE) in Nonprofit Leadership Management, either on‑site at the Downtown Phoenix or Tempe campuses or online.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and assist with course delivery.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and course content.
• Create, grade, and provide feedback on assignments, exams, and other assessments.
• Manage the Canvas learning management system for enrolled sections.
• Hold regular office hours to support student learning.

Required profile

• Official transcripts on file prior to employment.
• Eligibility to hold only one non‑benefits‑eligible appointment at ASU.
• Availability to teach in‑person on the Downtown Phoenix or Tempe campuses or remotely.
• Relevant academic background in nonprofit leadership, management, or related fields.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Canvas learning management platform.
