Facilities Worker I (Part-Time)

About the role

The Elmhurst Park District is seeking a reliable Facilities Worker I to join our team on a part‑time basis. You will help keep our parks, recreation facilities and grounds clean, safe, and ready for community use while supporting district events.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all assigned areas of the facility and grounds.
• Perform light repairs and maintenance of the facility and grounds.
• Report building, equipment, plumbing and electrical problems as needed.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are clean and in good operating condition.
• Set up and take down rooms for events and activities.
• Assist with district events when required.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
