About the role
We are looking for a Fabrication Associate to join our Branchburg shop. The role involves cutting, gluing and welding PVC, plastic and metal components, supporting CNC operations and preparing materials for fabrication projects.
Key responsibilities
- Glue and cut PVC pipe, perform plastic and metal welding.
- Support CNC operations and assist with material handling and preparation.
- Maintain and clean shop equipment, change blades and set up machines.
- Perform housekeeping and ensure timely completion of fabrication projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- High school diploma plus college degree, trade school certificate, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of lathes, milling machines, brakes, presses and wood‑shop equipment.
- Experience with plastic fabrication, plumbing and carpentry.
Required skills
- PVC pipe gluing and cutting.
- Plastic and metal welding.
- CNC operation support.
- Machine maintenance and blade changing.
- Use of table saws, drill presses, mills, lathes, brakes and presses.
- Blueprint reading and tape‑measure use.
- Material layout optimization and carpentry.
