Extruder Operator – Night Shift Production

About the role

The Extruder/Blancher Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and cleaning extrusion and blanching equipment used in the production of noodles and pasta products. This role ensures products are manufactured according to recipe specifications, quality standards, food safety requirements, and production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and tear down extruder and blancher equipment.
• Produce high‑quality noodles and pasta according to established recipes.
• Sanitize equipment using industrial cleaners and wear a wet suit during cleaning.
• Complete production documentation and maintain SAP system information.
• Perform washdowns, minor equipment adjustments, and lubrication as needed.
• Follow food safety, quality assurance, and GMP procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and operational‑excellence initiatives.
• Support a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies.

Required profile

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Capability to recognize and respond to warning lights, alarms, and unsafe conditions.
• Working knowledge of food manufacturing, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Required skills

• Basic math and production calculation skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
