Experienced Rack & Tool Maker (Welder/Fabricator)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Rack & Tool Maker (Welder/Fabricator) to join our production team in Minneapolis. The role involves fabricating, modifying, maintaining, and repairing metal racks, fixtures, jigs, and tools that support our metal finishing and plating operations.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, maintain, and repair metal racks, fixtures, jigs, and tools used in production.
• Support production efficiency by ensuring parts are held or plated correctly.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Department to keep machinery and equipment operating smoothly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tooling systems in a high‑security environment.
• Adhere to strict attendance, security, and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to work the 6:00 am – 2:00 pm shift, Monday‑Friday, with overtime as scheduled.
• Strong attendance record and willingness to follow security and safety rules.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with heat, humidity, dust, and noise.
• Willingness to relocate to Minnesota if not currently residing in the state.
