Experienced Project Manager

About the role

Mead & Hunt is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large‑scale projects within its Architecture group. The role is based in one of several U.S. offices and involves direct client interaction, proposal development, and project delivery across sectors such as aviation, transportation, and water infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for medium to large projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to secure future work.
• Prepare and price proposals, ensuring scope clarity.
• Provide project quality control and oversee compliance.
• Create and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Travel up to 25% of the time and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field (or 11 years relevant experience without a degree).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant project experience, including at least 2 years in project management.
• Professional licensure (NCARB‑certified architect or PE engineer) preferred.
• Strong communication, initiative, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
