Executive Search Consultant – Higher Education & K‑12

About the role

Kelly Education is seeking an Executive Search Consultant (or Senior Executive Search Consultant) to join the Greenwood Asher & Associates (GAA) team. The role focuses on executive search and leadership consulting for higher‑education institutions and independent K‑12 schools across the United States. You will partner with project teams to cultivate candidates, engage stakeholders, and manage the full search lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present candidate profiles, summaries and materials for client review.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate records.
• Lead client engagement activities such as stakeholder listening sessions, focus groups and on‑site visits.
• Synthesize stakeholder input into thematic reports and leadership profiles that shape search criteria.
• Stay current on leadership trends, governance structures and institutional priorities in higher education and K‑12 independent schools.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables and cross‑functional collaboration with Kelly Education and enterprise partners.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in executive search or talent acquisition, preferably within education.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Intellectual curiosity about leadership challenges in higher education and K‑12 settings.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with candidates and senior stakeholders.
