Events Management Associate

About the role

The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Strategic Event Marketing & Sponsorships team is seeking an Events Management Associate to lead and support the delivery of high‑visibility senior management and client events worldwide. You will partner closely with business lines and stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute complex employee and client programs.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end meeting planning, including logistics, timelines, and on‑site execution.
• Produce event materials such as name badges, tent cards, and attendee‑facing collateral.
• Prepare and pack travel and event office supplies and support on‑site readiness.
• Research venues, compile data, and maintain vendor relationships from outreach to contract execution.
• Manage registration operations, communications, and attendee inquiries while ensuring data quality.
• Update website text, attendee content, and maintain process guides and best‑practice documentation.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of meeting‑planning experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Highly organized with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and execution skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
• Willingness to travel and provide on‑site planner support (25‑40% of time).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including mail‑merge documents.
