Estate Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support

About the role

The family seeks a dedicated Estate Manager and Family Assistant to oversee two homes in Palo Alto and San Francisco. The role focuses on post‑nap afternoon and evening support, household organization, and meal preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily resets of kitchens, dining areas, play spaces and high‑traffic surfaces.
• Prepare the home before the weekly cleaning service and handle seasonal clothing swaps and Montessori toy rotation.
• Provide backup childcare, including diaper changes, snack preparation and transport to activities.
• Manage pantry, refrigerator and household supply inventories, place orders and handle returns.
• Coordinate vendors, schedule appointments and oversee practical upkeep such as battery, light‑bulb and smoke‑detector changes.
• Prepare simple family dinners five nights a week from recipes or meal kits.

Required profile

• Highly organized, proactive and able to anticipate household needs without being asked.
• Comfortable driving with a toddler, lifting a child, and holding a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Professional, discreet and able to communicate clearly while respecting family privacy.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $50–$55 based on experience.
• Paid breaks during shift, 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days and federal holidays.
• Full‑time schedule Monday‑Friday 12 pm‑8 pm with occasional weekend support (≈2×/month).
