Epic Senior Analyst – Cadence

About the role

The University of Miami Health System IT Department is seeking a full‑time Epic Senior Analyst for Cadence. The role initiates implementation, builds and modifies complex applications, and collaborates with stakeholders to optimise configuration, function and access.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support contact for Cadence end‑users and resolve application issues.
• Design, develop, implement and maintain Cadence configurations and builds.
• Lead all phases of testing and document workflow designs.
• Analyse new Epic releases, validate workflow impacts and guide issue resolution.
• Support junior staff in service‑ticket evaluation, data retrieval and day‑to‑day operations.
• Collaborate with trainers to create documentation and training strategies for new features.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and maintain regular communication with the project team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• 3–5 years of Epic build experience, specifically with Cadence.
• Understanding of scheduling, payer authorization and related workflow integrations.
• Epic Cadence/Referrals certification.
• Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed.
