Epic Ambulatory Care Managing Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is hiring an Epic Ambulatory Care Managing Consultant through its Project Delivery Talent Model, a long-term, onsite client service delivery model. The role is focused on Epic implementation work for healthcare solutions and is remote most of the time, though on-site support may be requested by the client. It suits an experienced consultant who wants to share new ideas and collaborate on projects without the extensive demands of travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized expertise in Epic systems to support the implementation and optimization of healthcare solutions.
• Configure and customize Epic modules according to project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Epic systems.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Epic applications.
• Document system configurations, workflows and processes for future reference.

Required profile

• Active certification in Epic Ambulatory, preferably with at least one specialty certification.
• 7+ years of hands-on Epic build experience.
• 7+ years of experience in application workflows, troubleshooting, testing and support.
• 7+ years of collaboration, analytical problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
• Demonstrable understanding of technical documentation and change control processes.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Able to travel 10% on average, depending on clients and sectors served.

Required skills

• Deeply experienced Epic Managing Consultant with strong SDLC experience for Epic.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team, and to lead projects or workstreams.
• Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

What we offer

• Salary range of $147,000 to $162,000, depending on skills, experience, certifications and other factors.
• Possibility to join a discretionary annual incentive program.
• Remote work most of the time, with potential on-site support.
