Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist – Franklin

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking an ambitious Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support its fast‑growing production and engineering operations. The role focuses on developing, implementing and managing EHS programs and training to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate instructor‑led and self‑paced EHS training across the organization.
• Manage human, financial and material resources to optimise program efficiency.
• Collaborate with EHS team members, managers and other departments to align training with company goals and regulations.
• Provide regular progress updates, status reports and event bulletins to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using PDCA methodology.
• Develop data‑mining and analytics processes to influence operational decisions.
• Review manufacturing work practices to identify hazards and stay current on emerging EHS regulations.
• Evaluate EHS team and training performance using internal metrics, OKRs and KPIs.
• Identify risks to training programs and create mitigation strategies.
• Support broader EHS activities such as regulatory reporting, inspections, audits and emergency drills.

Required profile

• Proven experience in EHS program development and training delivery.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, resources and track objectives.
• Excellent communication skills for transparent reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
