Entry-Level Sales Associate – Jacksonville, FL

About the role

The Sales Associate is an entry‑level sales development role designed to train high‑potential individuals for a career in outside sales. Working closely with assigned sales representatives, you will support customer relationships, prospecting, proposal development, CRM data entry, and sales execution over a 12‑to‑18‑month learning period.

Key responsibilities

• Support assigned Sales Representative(s) with day‑to‑day account management activities.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, presentations, and customer documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within the CRM system.
• Assist with prospecting, lead generation, appointment setting, and outbound follow‑up calls/emails.
• Coordinate meetings, demonstrations, site surveys, and customer visits.
• Manage sales‑related administrative tasks and workflow follow‑up.
• Assist with contract processing and sales order coordination.
• Support marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
• Learn product offerings, competitive positioning, and industry knowledge.
• Participate in field rides, customer meetings, and sales training activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
• Comfortable learning new technology and business systems.
• Positive, coachable attitude with a strong work ethic.
