Entry Level Quick Lube Service Technician

About the role

Devils Lake Cars is seeking an entry‑level Quick Lube Service Technician to join a supportive, hands‑on team. You will work directly with customers and fellow technicians to keep vehicles running safely and efficiently while gaining valuable automotive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Isolate faulty systems or components and perform necessary repairs.
• Drive vehicles for testing, inspect and refill fluid levels as needed.
• Check and adjust tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings.
• Install new oil train plugs and oil filters, and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdowns occur.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to complete tasks.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• One year of experience in a service department is recommended.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and possible drug testing.

Required skills

• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Proficiency with power tools, machine tools, and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of automobile systems and quick diagnostic abilities.
