Entry-Level Civil Engineer (0-2 yrs experience)

About the role

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a motivated entry‑level civil engineer to join its Austin office. You will work on a variety of site‑development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with senior engineers and directly with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in site planning, environmental analysis, and storm drainage studies.
• Support the design of grading, drainage, storm detention, utilities, access roads, parking facilities, and public street improvements.
• Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and gather data for design work.
• Coordinate permits and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project deliverables.

Required profile

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (or higher).
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and collaborative abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site and at a desk for extended periods.
