Enterprise Risk Management & Business Control Associate

About the role

The Associate, Risk Management operates within the Second Line of Defense and assists the Business Control & Risk Management team in executing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks and control effectiveness across the assigned business line.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with SLoD to review and promote adherence to risk frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Continuously monitor internal and external risk sources, conduct risk assessments, and develop KRIs/KPIs.
• Perform internal control testing, validate control adequacy, and escalate deficiencies.
• Support the CPI framework by defining and documenting metric details.
• Liaise with business units on regulatory examinations, internal audit, and credit risk reviews.
• Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on risk policies and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, auditing, credit management, or related regulatory functions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations and related regulatory expectations.
• Risk certification (preferred).
