Enterprise Planning and Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Enterprise Planning & Engineering (EP&E) Specialist is an entry‑level engineering position designed to develop future technical leaders within R+L Carriers. Working alongside experienced engineers, the role supports initiatives such as network optimization, pricing improvement, capacity planning, linehaul optimization and other strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, resolve and improve operational problems to support organic growth opportunities.
• Analyze optimization and modeling data to develop project solutions and perform cost‑benefit analyses.
• Resolve stakeholder conflicts, maintain alignment with corporate objectives, and present analytical findings in business review meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct standard analyses, interpret results, and recommend solutions while communicating risks to project managers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, VBA and SQL Server for data analysis, automation and reporting.
