Engineering Technician / Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Technician / Manufacturing Engineer to support our St. Joseph plant’s brake component production. The role involves troubleshooting, calibrating and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic test equipment, and assisting operators and manufacturing engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic test equipment.
• Calibrate and repair test equipment, including pressure transducers, LVDTs and load cells.
• Assist operators with equipment set‑up and build/repair test stand masters.
• Analyze test stand failures and conduct tear‑down investigations.
• Review processes for safety, quality and production efficiency.
• Identify and repair pneumatic and hydraulic leaks.
• Support assembly manufacturing by guiding maintenance staff.
• Learn and apply Vision Systems and industrial lighting for troubleshooting.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in qualifying new test equipment.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Manufacturing Engineering (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 1‑3 years of industrial experience with industrial controls and measurement devices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and knowledge of electrical safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
