We are seeking an Engineering Specialist to join our Rubric Academy Fellowship on a remote, self‑paced basis. This short‑term, paid opportunity allows you to explore how AI evaluation and benchmarking systems are built while applying your domain expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a self‑guided Academy covering core concepts used in AI evaluation.
• Learn principles of prompt design and how context influences AI outputs.
• Understand the notion of a “Golden Response” and how experts define ideal outcomes in your field.
• Review the structure of evaluation rubrics and scoring systems in AI benchmarking environments.
• Optionally perform a practice task to demonstrate applied understanding.
• Decide whether to opt‑in for eligibility for Mercor’s specialized expert opportunities.
