Engineering Manager (AI Platform)

About the role

Hypha is an AI‑native platform transforming asset management for healthcare facilities and multifamily real estate. As an Engineering Manager you will lead a high‑performing team that builds and evolves a core product area, shaping the technical direction while delivering high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, set priorities, run sprints and own delivery for a core product area.
• Write production‑grade TypeScript code and review contributions to maintain high engineering quality.
• Design system architecture, make sound technical decisions and ensure scalability of the platform.
• Collaborate with product, design and leadership to define road‑maps and translate user outcomes into engineering work.
• Hire, onboard and mentor engineers, providing regular feedback and career growth support.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing software engineering teams, including sprint planning and performance coaching.
• Hands‑on technical background with the ability to contribute code and guide architectural choices.
• Product‑oriented mindset focused on delivering user‑centric outcomes.
• Strong operational rigor to keep teams organized and moving without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Fluent use of AI‑assisted coding tools and ability to champion their adoption.
