Engineering Lead, Core Funnel & Payments

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Lead to own the core funnel and payments experience that moves money from discovery to claimant accounts. This greenfield role will set technical direction for our highest‑traffic consumer‑facing surface and build the team around it.

Key responsibilities

• Own a fast, high‑conversion consumer funnel, built mobile web‑first.
• Run rapid experimentation across the funnel, tailoring the experience per case type.
• Own claimant communications, evidence and signature collection, and dispute‑resolution scheduling.
• Own consumer payments and disbursements, ensuring correctness, auditability, and trust.
• Contribute to shared platform foundations, internal tooling, MCPs, and agent harnesses.
• Recruit, vet, and grow the engineers on this team.

Required profile

• Experience building and shipping production software at staff‑level technical scope.
• Track record of shipping products end‑to‑end, owning outcomes.
• Strong product instincts and bias toward action, comfortable making informed product decisions independently.
• Early‑stage (Series A or earlier) experience; ready to hire and lead a team from day one.
