End User Computing Engineer – Austin, TX

About the role

Infosys is looking for an End User Computing Engineer to join its Communications, Media & Technology unit in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on delivering end‑user device support, site and executive services, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives for telecom and media clients.

Key responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements during the elicitation process.
• Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding, integrate new features, and ensure system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and maintain the codebase.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth software transitions.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for knowledge sharing.
