Emergency Medical Technician

About the role

The Emergency Medical Technician will provide emergency and non‑emergency care and transport for patients in the Cambridge and Metro Boston area, following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver emergency medical services and patient transport in Type III ambulances.
• Utilize Stryker Power‑PRO stretchers and Power‑LOAD system during patient care.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current Massachusetts EMT certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of FEMA IS‑100.C, IS‑200.C, IS‑700.B, and IS‑800.D courses.

Required skills

• EMT clinical skills and patient assessment.
• Basic Life Support techniques.
• Incident Command System knowledge (FEMA courses).
