Elementary Program Leader (Part-Time)

About the role

The Elementary Program Leader creates a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for K‑6 students during out‑of‑school hours. Reporting to the Elementary Pathway Coordinator, the role blends academic support, recreational activities, and spiritual development to promote positive youth development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver age‑appropriate activities including academic tutoring, arts, STEM, recreation and team‑building while ensuring safety and alignment with the Dream Center’s Cradle to Career Pathway milestones.
• Provide academic support in partnership with the Academic Development team and develop college‑ and career‑readiness initiatives.
• Foster a Christ‑centered environment by implementing ministry lessons and encouraging students’ walk with Christ in collaboration with the Director of Discipleship.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in educational, recreational, church or childcare settings.
• Strong organizational, communication and classroom‑management abilities.
• Ability to build relationships across diverse cultural and social backgrounds and to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ, regular attendance at a Bible‑believing church, and a lifestyle consistent with Christian teachings.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass a criminal background check.
