About the role
The Electro-Mechanical Technician supports day‑to‑day manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment on the plant floor. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency. This position is on the 3rd shift (10 pm‑6:30 am) with a shift differential.
Key responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, align, and improve complex equipment that integrates electrical, electronic, instrumentation, automation, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose failures, establish safe conditions, restore equipment to standard, verify function, and communicate status and risks to Operations and Maintenance leadership.
- Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition‑based maintenance to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Participate in parts‑purchase requests, equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, and line improvements.
- Use digital tools and SAP/Prometheus to record work orders, create notifications, and improve maintenance procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate degree or technical certificate in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
Required skills
- Service, rebuild, and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, gearboxes, motors, pumps, valves, and power‑transmission components.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical‑drive systems, plus utility systems such as air, steam, and refrigeration.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting, including I/O hardware, sensors, drives, and device‑communication networks.
- Basic electrical skills, interpretation of the National Electrical Code, and troubleshooting of motor‑control and safety circuits up to 480 V.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and field devices, reading technical drawings and schematics, and using testing tools such as ammeters and megohmmeters.

- Shift differential of $2.25 per hour.
- Pay range $29.50 – $36.00 per hour.
