Electrical Project Manager – Greater Chicago Area

About the role

Dubak Electrical Group LLC is expanding and seeks an Electrical Project Manager for the Greater Chicago area. The role oversees electrical construction projects across heavy commercial and light industrial sectors, from bidding to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new bidding opportunities, develop estimates, and manage projects from start to finish.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for scope, cost, schedule, and design where applicable.
• Coordinate with superintendents, labor resources, and multidisciplinary teams to prevent interference among civil, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Lead pre‑construction activities, value engineering, and business development with existing and new clients.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Working knowledge of industrial construction, design, finance, and project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
• Ability to manage project schedules, manpower loading, and cost tracking under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
• Experience with industrial electrical job costing and tracking.
• Knowledge of high‑level electrical systems, mechanical, pipe, civil, and structural work.
• Familiarity with power, controls, automation, instrumentation, lighting, data/voice, and fiber‑optic wiring.
