Electrical Engineering Internship

About the role

Moog’s Product Engineering team within the Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer intern to work onsite in East Aurora, NY. The intern will support production assembly and test activities, gaining hands‑on experience with electrical engineering tasks in a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clear production assembly and test instructions, including Work Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP/PAT), and Electronic Historical Record (EHR) entries.
• Assist in maintaining product integrity by performing Material Review Board (MRB) analyses, statistical analysis of electrical test data, and supporting notice of escape (NOE) evaluations.
• Identify and implement producibility and quality improvements in assembly, test, and product design.
• Design, coordinate, and troubleshoot production equipment such as fixtures, tools, flow‑line systems, and electrical test equipment.
• Perform basic programming to track key metrics like first‑pass yield (FPY) and product cost objectives.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering bachelor’s or master’s program at an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (specific requirement may vary by department).
• Ability to relocate for the internship duration.
• Professional disposition, effective communication, strong desire to learn, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team.
