Electrical Engineer II – Communications

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer II you will design advanced circuitry for our communications and power‑management products. You will participate in new product design from concept to full production, tackling analog, audio, digital, and battery‑powered design challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype analog and digital circuits, build prototypes, and validate performance against demanding specifications.
• Select and specify components that balance performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Create production documentation including schematics, BOMs, and guide PCB layout.
• Test and verify product performance, documenting and refining designs to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Support technical sales by providing engineering insight to customers.
• Define and validate production tests and collaborate with Production to qualify test equipment.
• Sustain and improve existing products through troubleshooting and reliability enhancements.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales to drive successful product outcomes.

Required profile

• BSEE degree and U.S. citizenship.
• 2+ years of product‑development experience from concept through production.
• Strong analog/audio design skills with experience in op‑amps, filters, transistor circuits, codecs, and power supplies.
• Experience in digital and microprocessor design.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑driven problem solver with excellent communication skills.

• Target base salary $80,000 – $95,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
