Electrical & Automation Engineer Development Program (2027)

About the role

Join Nestlé USA’s two‑year Electrical & Automation Engineer Development Program and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will rotate through core engineering functions, work on real projects, and receive mentorship from senior E&A leaders while supporting the modernization of food production.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations and maintenance of electrical power, instrumentation, and control systems, including use of digital tools.
• Assist with capital investment projects from scoping and vendor coordination to commissioning and documentation.
• Gather data, document findings, and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate electrical and automation documentation and support change‑control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (expected by June 2027).
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 + and prior internship or co‑op experience in Electrical & Automation.
• Leadership experience in student organizations, athletics, or community activities.
• Willingness to relocate to a Nestlé COE location (Jonesboro, AR or Waverly, IA) and work flexible shifts.
