Education Developer

About the role

Vastian, a fast‑growing SaaS provider of healthcare and laboratory quality solutions, is looking for an experienced Education Developer with a strong background in medical laboratory science. The role focuses on creating high‑quality continuing education products and interactive learning experiences for laboratory professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and continuously improve CE courses, mini‑courses, case‑based learning, simulators, assessments and other digital education products.
• Provide scientific and editorial oversight for content created by internal teams, contract authors, reviewers and subject‑matter experts.
• Apply laboratory expertise and instructional design principles to identify knowledge gaps, enhance learner engagement and ensure clinical accuracy.
• Research emerging industry trends, regulatory changes and advances in diagnostic testing to shape the education roadmap.
• Monitor user feedback, performance analytics and client requests to drive continuous content improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from a NAACLS‑accredited program (or equivalent combination of associate and bachelor degrees).
• 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory and/or laboratory education setting; experience as an MLS/MLT instructor or program director is highly preferred.
• Strong scientific writing, editing and content‑review skills with exceptional attention to accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
