Economic Support Consultant Supervisor – RevMax

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services – Division of Family & Children Services – is hiring an Economic Support Consultant Supervisor for the Revenue Maximization (Rev Max) unit covering DFCS Regions 14A (Dekalb and Clayton Counties). The supervisor will lead a team of one Program Assistant and four Rev Max Specialists, ensuring accurate Medicaid and Title IV‑E eligibility determinations and timely benefit processing.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and monitor a Rev Max team of one Program Assistant and four Specialists.
• Monitor work accuracy, IV‑E funding determination accuracy, timeliness, and processing accuracy in SHINES and Gateway systems.
• Assist in reviewing IV‑E records for state and federal audit preparation.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and support on Medicaid and Title IV‑E eligibility.
• Conduct case action reviews, generate reports, handle personnel actions, and lead monthly conferences.
• Track team performance through system reports and worker‑card reviews, maintaining a 98 % accuracy rating and 96 % promptness rating.

Required profile

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university and four years of related experience, including at least one year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Or one year of experience at the lower‑level Economic Support Consultant 3 (SSP052) or equivalent position.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and two years of eligibility‑determination experience in government or human‑services programs.
• Supervisory experience in child welfare, foster care, adoptions, or other social‑service programs is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Title IV‑E program is highly desirable.
