Division Manager – Space

About the role

MANTECH seeks a motivated, customer‑oriented Division Manager – Space to lead a large portfolio, drive strategic growth across national security and commercial space markets, and deliver cutting‑edge space capabilities in line with the company’s 2027 strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and full P&L oversight for an annual revenue portfolio exceeding $50 million.
• Drive aggressive 3‑year business development and capture strategies across the U.S. Space Force, NASA, and commercial space sectors.
• Establish and lead a disciplined pipeline management process to improve visibility into growth opportunities.
• Direct the division’s capabilities to deliver advanced analytics, protected communications, space domain awareness, and orbital/ground system resiliency.
• Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with senior executives and flag officers in key space accounts.
• Oversee program execution, staffing, and professional development to ensure contract compliance and superior performance.
• Collaborate with corporate functions to optimize resource allocation and resolve critical operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including at least 10 years in executive‑level roles.
• Proven P&L ownership of an annual portfolio exceeding $50 million.
• Extensive knowledge of the U.S. Space Force, NASA, and commercial space providers.
• Demonstrated track record of driving top‑line organic growth and expanding into new space mission areas.
