Distribution Operations Control Leader

About the role

The Distribution Operations Control Leader drives operational performance for both internal and external customers within Schneider Electric's distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee inbound and outbound flows, ensure compliance, and lead the control tower to meet service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize inbound and outbound flows to and from the distribution center.
• Ensure all trade and compliance requirements (CTPAT, Dangerous Goods Shipping, etc.) are satisfied.
• Standardize and improve methods to enhance DC operational performance.
• Optimize space utilization and resolve capacity issues.
• Maintain SLA targets for cycle time (inbound/outbound).
• Manage resources including headcount and equipment.
• Participate in daily production meetings and act as first escalation for delivery performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on supplier and parts qualification, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead the control tower and drive continuous improvement, people management, and budget accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Previous ERP experience, preferably with SAP, Manhattan, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of lean fundamentals.
• Strong influencing, communication, and negotiation abilities.
