Director, Validation Management Strategy

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Director to lead the expansion of its Validation Management platform across North America. You will guide life‑sciences companies in digitizing their commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV) processes through a unified cloud‑based solution.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for leading market expansion and growth for Validation Management within the North American life sciences portfolio.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to field‑facing teams and maintain executive relationships at manufacturing sites.
• Guide product development to ensure new features address qualification of physical assets and complex production processes.
• Develop strategy and messaging to drive customer adoption from legacy document‑centric workflows to data‑centric digital validation.
• Coordinate resources across the customer lifecycle from sales discovery through delivery and long‑term value realization.
• Act as industry evangelist by presenting at conferences, leading webinars, and authoring content for publications.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in life‑sciences validation with focus on commissioning, qualification and equipment validation.
• Deep technical understanding of the validation lifecycle (requirements, design, verification, acceptance & release) for facilities, utilities and process equipment.
• Experience with risk‑based qualification and familiarity with ASTM E2500, ISPE Baseline Guides and Annex 15.
• Proven ability to move organizations from document‑centric to data‑centric validation models.
• Experience implementing or consulting on digital validation software.
• Strong communication skills to engage heads of engineering, quality and IT at the executive level.
