Director, Single Family Office

About the role

This newly created leadership position serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the family principal of a multi‑generational family enterprise in Austin. The Director coordinates governance, financial, legal, and operational matters across a sophisticated private portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead governance coordination for trusts, entities, philanthropic initiatives, and related structures.
• Advise the Principal on wealth structuring, fiduciary matters, real estate transactions, and family governance.
• Partner with the Head of Family Office to align enterprise‑wide governance, compliance, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate execution of contracts, trust documentation, entity formation, and complex transactions with legal, tax, and accounting advisors.
• Support budgeting, liquidity planning, cash‑flow forecasting, and consolidated reporting.
• Manage transactional and operational coordination for a diverse real‑estate portfolio, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and capital projects.
• Serve as the central liaison between the Principal and internal corporate functions as well as external advisors, ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and consistent communication.
