Director, Product Management – Network Products

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the creation of next‑generation value‑added services on its global core payments network. The role will translate market insights and customer pain points into scalable network‑level solutions that enhance the Mastercard ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Identify unmet needs of issuers, acquirers, processors and fintech partners and generate new service concepts.
• Develop initial product frameworks, including problem definition, hypothesis, segmentation and value proposition.
• Collaborate with technology teams to shape early solution designs and define system requirements.
• Benchmark competitor offerings and uncover white‑space opportunities for differentiated services.
• Build business cases, roadmaps and executive‑ready narratives to secure investment.
• Work with regional product teams to validate concepts across geographies and align prioritisation.
• Partner with commercialization, pricing and legal teams to define go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in payments, financial services or FinTech product leadership.
• Deep understanding of payment network economics, transaction processing and the broader financial ecosystem.
• Proven track record of launching new products or services at scale.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of payment network operations and value‑added services.
• Ability to translate market signals into concrete product concepts and business cases.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and executive communication skills.
