Director, Product Management

About the role

HD Supply is looking for a Director, Product Management who leads the strategic vision and product roadmap across the customer journey. The role ensures all products align with the company's vision and standards, identifies and connects interdependencies, supports business reviews, and attracts, motivates and mentors top product management talent.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify and plan capabilities needed to meet short- and long-term business needs.
• Develop and execute strategic plans in support of key objectives in a timely and fiscally responsible way.
• Drive strategic alignment between products so users get a seamless experience across the enterprise.
• Implement robust product management processes and frameworks, continuously assessed and refined.
• Act as a liaison for product management initiatives, reporting progress and strategic direction to senior leadership.
• Oversee product development by monitoring performance, directing team effort and resolving issues.
• Recruit, retain and develop product management talent, mentoring direct reports and conducting annual and mid-year reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of product leadership experience, typically 9+ years overall including several years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Product management experience covering service/support technology and supply chain systems such as WMS, inventory planning, demand forecasting and ERP.
• Familiarity with forecasting and inventory optimization methods (safety stock, demand sensing, replenishment algorithms).
• Comfort with data-driven product decisions, dashboards and analytics partners, and defining KPIs for service and supply chain outcomes.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment with engineering, operators and business stakeholders.
